Meal Card: BBQ Chicken Breast

We’ve taken chicken breasts, slathered them BBQ sauce and showered them with crispy shallots for a dish with as much texture as flavor. To go alongside it, we’ve added our creamy, dreamy potato au gratin to make it a complete meal. This Rapid Cook meal is custom designed to be made in your Suvie 2.0. Order it directly from Suvie, have it delivered to your door, and dinner is ready in a flash.

Note: If you would like, add 1-2 tsps homemade BBQ Seasoning to add even more flavor to this delicious meal.

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 375°F for 15 minutes for 2 people, or 20 minutes for 4 people 

Top Zone: Roast at 360°F for 27 mins for 2 people, or 37 mins for 4 people

Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal. 

BBQ Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz) chicken breasts
  • 2 oz BBQ sauce
  • 2 pieces Potato Au Gratin
  • 1 tbsp crispy shallots

Directions

1) Place the wire roasting rack into a Suvie pan. Open packages with the chicken breast and place on top of the roasting rack already in the Suvie pan.

2) Open package with potato gratin and place into the other Suvie pan. Load chicken into the upper zone. Load the gratins into the lower zone. 

3) Using the track wheel, choose Cook Now. Alternatively, you can Store or Schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. Input the following settings (Make sure to select “Yes” when prompted for Cooking from Frozen):

4) After the cook is complete, check that the internal temperature of the chicken breasts are 165°F. Divide cooked food between plates, and pour BBQ sauce over chicken and distribute crispy shallots over chicken.

How are you supposed to cook the 4 serving option?

Hi Rebecca, the settings for 4 people are Bottom Zone: Roast at 375°F for 20 minutes and Top Zone Roast at 360°F for 30 minutes.

But 4 servings of the chicken do not fit in the pan. Is there some way one goes in with the potatoes?

Yes how the hell do you cook four chicken breast at once? This product always seems like it’s on top of great ideas but really poor execution

I have had this issue with both meals I have tried to cook. Either there is not enough space for 4 servings of the sides, or the protein packs.
