Chimichurri Chicken Sausage With Roasted Potatoes, Peppers & Onions

Our chimichurri chicken sausage meal is brimming with bright and verdant flavor. We serve our delicious sausage on a bed of vegetables and drizzle it with herbaceous chimichurri sauce to finish. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 400°F for 10 minutes for 2 servings, 20 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 375°F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 40 minutes for 4 servings

 Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal.

Chimichurri Chicken Sausage With Roasted Potatoes, Peppers & Onions

Ingredients

  • 4 oz chimichurri sauce
  • 12 oz chicken sausage
  • 10 oz roasted potatoes
  • 6 oz peppers & onions 

Directions

1) Run chimichurri sauce under warm water to thaw and set aside during the cook.

2) Cut open sausage and place links in the rack in a Suvie pan. 

3) Open potatoes and peppers & onions and add to a separate Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp olive oil (2 tbsp for 4 servings), 1 tsp salt (2 tsp for 4 servings) and freshly ground pepper.

4) Load sausage into the top zone of Suvie and potatoes, peppers & onions into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

Bottom Zone: Roast at 400°F for 5 minutes for 2 servings, 15 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 375°F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 40 minutes for 4 servings 

5) After cook is complete, divide food between plates and serve with chimichurri sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
