Chimichurri Shrimp

Our flavorful chimichurri sauce is one of our most popular and is the perfect accompaniment to succulent shrimp. Served on top of fluffy white rice and a hearty blend of peppers and onions, this is a meal the whole family will enjoy. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes for 2 servings, 25 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 250°F for 5 minutes for 2 servings, 10 minutes for 4 servings 

Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal.

Chimichurri Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 8 oz shrimp 
  • 10 oz white rice
  • 6 oz peppers & onions
  • 4 oz chimichurri sauce

Directions

1) Remove chimichurri from freezer, run under warm water to thaw. Set aside during cook.

2) Open shrimp and pour onto the roasting rack in a Suvie pan. Season with 1/2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper (for 4 servings, use 1 tbsp olive oil and 2 tsp salt).

3) Open white rice and add to a Suvie pan. Open peppers & onions and add to white rice. Season with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper (for 4 servings, use 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tsp salt).

4) Load shrimp into the top zone of Suvie and white rice and peppers & onions into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

5) After cook is complete, divide food between plates, drizzle with chimichurri sauce and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Bit spicy, hint of lime…took 30 mins from cooling mode, yummy. 18 pc of shrimp for a 2 serving meal, would make again.
