Harissa Roasted Vegetables with Chicken Sausages

In this delicious dish we pair harissa with cauliflower florets, tender peppers and onions, and hearty chicken sausages for a meal that’s worth more than the sum of its parts.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Italian chicken sausage 
  • 10 oz cauliflower 
  • 4 oz peppers & onions
  • 2 oz harissa 

Directions

1) Cut open sausage and place links in a Suvie pan. 

2) Run harissa under warm water to slightly thaw. Open cauliflower, peppers and onions and pour into a Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp olive oil, ½ tsp salt and freshly ground pepper (for 4-servings, use 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp salt). Open harissa and squeeze out of packaging so it rests on top of cauliflower, peppers and onions.

3) Load sausages into the top zone of Suvie and cauliflower, peppers and onions into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

4) When cook is complete, toss cauliflower, peppers and onions with the harissa. Divide between plates with the sausages and season to taste with salt and pepper.
