Herby Roast Vegetables with Italian Sausages

Lively basil pesto is the perfect sauce for adding vibrancy and flavor to any dish. We serve the pesto with tender broccoli, sweet roasted tomatoes, and hearty Italian sausages for a nutrient-packed, Italian-inspired meal that everyone will love. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 400°F for 10 minutes for 2 servings, 20 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 375°F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 40 minutes for 4 servings

 Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz sweet Italian sausage 
  • 10 oz broccoli 
  • 4 oz roasted tomatoes
  • 4 oz basil pesto 

Directions

1) Cut open sausage and place links in a Suvie pan. 

2) Run pesto under warm water to slightly thaw. Open broccoli and roasted tomatoes and pour into a Suvie pan. Open pesto and squeeze out of packaging so it rests on top of broccoli and tomatoes.

3) Load sausages into the top zone of Suvie and broccoli and tomatoes into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

4) When cook is complete, toss broccoli and tomatoes with the pesto. Divide between plates with the sausages and season to taste with salt and pepper.
