Gochujang is a unique Korean condiment that is simultaneously sweet, spicy, and savory. Known for its fiery flavor, gochujang can be mixed with other sauces to tame the heat. In this instance, we have mixed it with teriyaki to add a little sweetness. We serve our ultra-flavor sauce with fluffy white rice, tender green beans, hearty cauliflower, sweet bell peppers, and onions. A shower of crunchy sesame seeds adds a bit of texture to this delicious dish. This Rapid Cook meal is custom designed to be made in your Suvie 2.0. Top Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 mins for 2 servings, 25 mins for 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 10 oz white rice  
  • 8 oz green beans
  • 10 oz cauliflower
  • 5 oz peppers & onions
  • 1.8 oz gochujang sauce  
  • 2 (1.8 oz) packets teriyaki sauce
  • 1 oz sesame seeds

Directions

1) Open the white rice and add to a Suvie pan. Open the green beans and evenly distribute over the rice. Place pan into the top zone of your Suvie.

2) Open the cauliflower, peppers, and onions, and add to a separate Suvie pan. Drizzle with 1 tbsp of olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Place pan into the bottom zone of your Suvie.

3) Input settings and cook now. Set gochujang and teriyaki sauce out to come to room temperature. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (Please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

4) After the cook is complete, divide food between plates, drizzle with the gochujang and teriyaki sauces and garnish with sesame seeds.
