Lemon Herb Shrimp

Our zippy lemon herb sauce is the perfect accompaniment to crisp green beans, tender shrimp, and toothsome farfalle pasta. Not only does this recipe pack a punch of bright, citrusy flavor, but it also has an array of textures the whole family will love. Note: This recipe requires Suvie 2.0 and the Suvie Starch Cooker. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Sous Vide at 130 °F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 45 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Steam at 250 °F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 30 minutes for 4 servings 

Starch Cooker Settings 

Set Starch Cooker to pasta mode and set for 11 minutes.

Select YES from frozen when preparing a Suvie meal. 

Lemon Herb Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 5 oz green beans
  • 8 oz shrimp
  • 6 oz lemon herb sauce
  • 4 oz farfalle pasta

Directions

1) Pour green beans into a Suvie pan.

2) Do not open the shrimp packages! Place shrimp into a Suvie pan and cover completely with water.

3) Do not open the lemon herb sauce packages! Place lemon herb sauce in pan with the shrimp.

4) Place a strainer into the pasta pot (green handles) and pour in farfalle pasta. Add a generous amount of salt. Do not add water! Cover with pot lid, place into your starch cooker and close the door.

5) Load green beans into the top zone of Suvie and shrimp and lemon herb sauce into the bottom zone. Input settings and choose Cook Now, Schedule or Refrigerate (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen). Follow prompts on both appliances.

Starch Cooker Settings 

Set Starch Cooker to pasta mode and set for 11 minutes.

6) When cook is complete, ​​carefully remove pan (it will be hot!) with shrimp from Suvie. Remove shrimp from packaging and discard any liquid. 

7) Place shrimp in a dry Suvie pan and carefully pour lemon herb sauce over the shrimp.

8) Season green beans with olive oil, salt and pepper and return pan to Suvie. 

9) Confirm 4 minute broil times on Suvie screen. Close Suvie door and select “Start Broil.”

10) After the broil, remove farfalle from starch cooker and divide between plates.

11) Top the farfalle with shrimp and green beans and pour over the lemon herb sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

What are the broil times?

Hi Don, broil time is 4 minutes for both zones. I’ve updated the recipe to reflect the time.

My order did not come with a instruction card for this meal, a bit of a pain to manually select it all on the display with high chance of human error. Feature request: I would really like to be able to send the instructions from the phone to the suvie cooker in case a card is missing or isn’t working.
