Our red pepper pesto is as vibrantly hued as it is delicious, and is perfect for drizzling over rich chicken sausage. We serve the sausage over our orzo blend and hearty torn kale for a delicious, nutritious, and flavorful meal.
Suvie Cook Settings
Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes for 2 servings, 25 minutes for 4 servings
Top Zone: Roast at 375°F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 40 minutes for 4 servings
Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal.
Mediterranean Chicken Sausage Bowl

Ingredients
- 4 oz red pepper pesto
- 12 oz chicken sausage
- 8 oz orzo blend
- 5 oz kale
Directions
1) Run red pepper pesto under warm water to thaw and set aside during the cook.
2) Cut open sausage and place links in the rack in a Suvie pan.

3) Open orzo blend and add to a separate Suvie pan. Open kale and add on top of orzo blend. Season with 1 tbsp olive oil (2 tbsp for 4-servings), 1 tsp salt (2 tsp for 4-servings) and freshly ground pepper.

4) Load sausage into the top zone of Suvie and orzo into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

5) After cook is complete, divide food between plates and serve with red pepper pesto. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
