Our salmon grain bowl is bursting with all the fresh flavors of the Mediterranean. Verdant pesto is the perfect pairing for protein-packed grains, rich salmon, and nutrient dense kale. 

Suvie Cook Settings

For 2 servings enter the following settings starting with the Bottom Zone.

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes

Top Zone: Roast at 325°F for 13 minutes

Mediterranean Salmon Grain Bowl

Ingredients

  • 12 oz salmon
  • 4 oz pesto
  • 8 oz orzo blend
  • 5 oz kale

Directions

1) Open salmon and place on a roasting rack. Season filets with 1 tbsp olive oil , 1 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper (for 4 servings, use 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tsp salt). Cut open pesto and squeeze equally onto each filet. Place pan into the top zone of your Suvie.

2) Open orzo blend and add to a Suvie pan. Add kale on top of orzo blend. Season with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper (for 4 servings, use 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tsp salt). Place pan in the bottom zone of your Suvie.

3) Load salmon into the top zone of Suvie and orzo the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

4) After the cook is complete, divide food between plates, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
