Pesto Orzo Bowl

Our grain bowls are packed with a variety of textures and flavors to keep things interesting. No sad lunches here! Hearty cauliflower is paired with kale, chickpeas, orzo, shredded carrots, and quinoa for a healthy meal that doesn’t sacrifice on flavor. A drizzle of herbaceous pesto and a sprinkling of savory parmesan complete the dish. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes for 2 servings, 25 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 400°F for 5 minutes for 2 servings, 15 minutes for 4 servings 

Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal. 

Pesto Orzo Bowl

Ingredients

  • 10 oz cauliflower
  • 4 oz pesto
  • 8 oz orzo blend
  • 5 oz kale
  • 1/2 oz parmesan cheese

Directions

1) Open cauliflower and add to a Suvie pan. Cut open pesto and squeeze out of packaging so that it rests on top of cauliflower. Place pan into the top zone of your Suvie.

2) Open orzo blend and add to a Suvie pan. Add kale on top of orzo. Place pan in the bottom zone of your Suvie.

3) Load cauliflower into the top zone of Suvie and orzo blend into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (Please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

4) After the cook is complete, divide food between plates, garnish with parmesan and season to taste.
