Meal Card: Pulled BBQ Chicken with Mac and Cheese

Bring the barbecue inside with our delicious pulled chicken and mac & cheese meal. Juicy chicken breasts are slow cooked for two hours in tangy barbecue sauce until fork tender and shredable. The pulled chicken is served with melty mac and cheese, for a delicious homestyle meal the whole family will love.

Pulled BBQ Chicken with Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz) chicken breasts  
  • 2 (6 oz) BBQ sauce 
  • 26 oz macaroni & cheese

Directions

1) Run 1 packet of BBQ sauce under warm water to thaw. Put the other packet in the fridge if scheduling, otherwise set aside to thaw.

2) Cut open chicken breasts and place in a Suvie pan.

3) Cut open BBQ sauce and pour over chicken.

4) Remove plastic lid from macaroni and cheese and place tray into a separate Suvie pan.

5) Place the chicken in the top zone of Suvie and the mac and cheese in the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

6) When the cook is complete, use two forks and gently pull and shred chicken apart. Toss the shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce and season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates with the mac and cheese.
