Meal Card: Roasted Half Chicken with Green Beans and Tomatoes

Our half roasted chicken is one of our most popular items. It is seasoned with an array of herbs and is juicy and rich. We’ve paired the chicken with crisp green beans, juicy sweet tomatoes, and crispy shallots for a meal that’s packed with an array of flavors and textures. 

Suvie Cook Settings

For 2 servings enter the following settings starting with the Bottom Zone.

Bottom Zone: Roast at 350 °F for 15 minutes

Top Zone: Roast at 350 °F for 30 minutes

For 4 servings enter the following settings starting with the Bottom Zone.

Bottom Zone: Roast at 350 °F for 30 minutes

Top Zone: Roast at 350 °F for 30 minutes

Roasted Half Chicken with Green Beans and Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 (17 oz) roasted chicken half 
  • 5 oz green beans 
  • 4 oz roasted tomatoes
  • 0.5 oz crispy shallots

Directions

1) Open roasted chicken half and place in a Suvie pan. (For a 4-person serving, reserve second chicken half for other Suvie pan).

2) Open green beans and add to a Suvie pan. Open roasted tomatoes and add on top of green beans. (For a 4-person serving, place second chicken half on top of green beans and tomatoes)

3) Load chicken into the top zone of Suvie and green beans and tomatoes into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

Bottom Zone: Roast at 350 °F for 15 minutes for 2 servings, 30 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 350 °F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 30 minutes for 4 servings 

4) After the cook is complete, divide food between plates and drizzle with juices from the pan. Garnish with crispy shallots and season to taste with salt and pepper.

What happened to the ability to scan or select the meal on the suvie?

There was a software bug. It has been fixed. If you still do not see the meal menu please restart your appliance. If the problem persists please reach out to customer support at help@suvie.com

I would give this dinner a good rating the chicken was cooked very nice and juicy and taste exceptional the green beans and sun-dried tomatoes were also a good match and we’re done well and a pleasure to eat. I would buy this one again.
