This delicious meal is quick and easy thanks to some of our favorite flavor-packed shortcuts. Italian sausages are a great way to add flavor to your meal with minimal work. Creamy vodka sauce adds an extra layer of flavor and texture than marinara alone. We love the twisted shape of the campanelle, but any extruded pasta will do. To finish the dish, broiled garlic asparagus adds a fresh, crispness to balance out the tender pasta and savory sausage. You can easily double this recipe to make 4 servings.

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 4 oz campanelle pasta

Directions

1) Place vacuum-sealed sausages in a Suvie pan, cover with water, and place in the bottom zone of Suvie. Pour 1 cup vodka sauce into a second Suvie pan, and place pan in the top zone of Suvie. Input settings, and Cook Now or Schedule.

Suvie Cook Settings

Top Zone: Sous Vide at 160°F for 1 hour, 30 minutes

2) Place 4 oz pasta in the Suvie starch strainer set within the Suvie pasta pot (green handles). Cover pot with lid and place inside the Suvie Starch Cooker, ensuring the pot is centered on the hot plate. Input settings and cook now or schedule.

3) After the cook, remove pans from Suvie. Toss asparagus, olive oil, and ½ tsp kosher salt together in a clean, dry Suvie pan and insert into the top zone of your Suvie. Remove sausage from packaging, pat dry, and transfer to a clean, dry Suvie pan. Return pan to bottom zone of your Suvie.

4) Roast asparagus and sausage at 400°F for 15 minutes until garlic is fragrant and sausages are browned (if using Suvie 3.0, we recommend elevating the asparagus and sausages on a roasting rack).

5) Divide pasta, asparagus, and sausage between plates. Top pasta with vodka sauce and serve.
