Spicy Moroccan Shrimp Bowl

Flavorful harissa sauce is the perfect accompaniment for succulent shrimp and our orzo blend, which contains chickpeas, quinoa, millet, carrots, bell peppers, and kale. Ready in less than an hour, this meal is as delicious as it is quick to prepare. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes for 2 servings, 25 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 250°F for 5 minutes for 2 servings, 10 minutes for 4 servings

 Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz harissa sauce
  • 8 oz shrimp
  • 8 oz orzo blend

Directions

1) Open harissa package and squeeze into a bowl. Open shrimp, add to harissa sauce and toss with a spoon. Season with ½ tbsp olive oil (1 tbsp), 1 tsp salt (2 tsp) and freshly ground pepper. Add the coated shrimp onto the roasting rack. 

2) Open orzo blend and pour into a separate Suvie pan.

3) Load shrimp into the top zone of Suvie and orzo into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

 4) When cook is complete, divide food between plates and season to taste with salt and pepper.
