Teriyaki Meatballs with Green Peas and Rice

We’ve seasoned our beef meatballs with sweet and savory teriyaki sauce for a delicious twist on classic beef teriyaki. We’ve paired our meatballs with fluffy white rice and a side of sweet green peas. To finish the dish, sprinkle on some sesame seeds for a nutty crunch. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes for 2 servings, 25 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 375°F for 15 minutes for 2 servings, 25 minutes for 4 servings

Teriyaki Meatballs with Green Peas and Rice

Ingredients

  • 12 oz beef meatballs
  • 10 oz white rice
  • 3 oz green peas
  • 2 (1.5 oz) packets teriyaki sauce
  • 0.125 oz sesame seeds

Directions

1) Open meatballs and place on roasting rack in a Suvie pan. For 2 servings, drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil over meatballs; for 4 servings, use 2 tbsp. 

2) Open white rice and add to a Suvie pan. Add green peas on top of white rice. For 2 servings, season with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper; for 4 servings, use 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp salt, and freshly ground pepper to taste. 

3) Load meatballs into the top zone of Suvie and white rice and green peas into the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

4) When the cook is complete, divide food between plates, drizzle with teriyaki sauce, garnish with sesame seeds and season to taste with salt and pepper.
