Grilled steak paired with vibrant chimichurri sauce is a classic flavor combination that delivers a fresh and satisfying meal. The rich, perfectly cooked tri-tip is beautifully complemented by the bright, herbaceous punch of the sauce and hearty roasted vegetables.
Meal Card: Grilled Steak and Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients
- 1-2 packets chimichurri sauce
- 1-2 packages tri-tip steak
- 1-2 packages roasted potatoes
- 1-2 packages peppers & onions
Directions
1) Place packet of chimichurri sauce in a bowl of hot water to thaw, or place in the fridge to thaw if scheduling this meal.
2) Open tri-tip steak into a Suvie pan. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie.
3) Open potatoes, peppers and onions into a Suvie pan. Season generously with olive oil, salt and pepper.. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie.
4) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.
Suvie Cook Settings
Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 20 minutes)
Top Zone: Roast at 325°F for 27 minutes (for 4 servings,Roast for 37 minutes)
5) Remove steak from Suvie, leaving potatoes, peppers, and onions in to keep warm. Flip steak over and return pan to Suvie. Confirm 2 minute broil time.
6) Transfer steak to a cutting board to rest for 4 minutes. Stir potatoes, peppers, and onions together and season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates.
7) Slice steak against the grain into slices. Divide between plates, serving chimichurri on the side.
