Our salmon grain bowl is bursting with all the fresh flavors of the Mediterranean. Verdant pesto is the perfect pairing for protein-packed grains, rich salmon, and nutrient dense kale. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes for 2 servings, 25 minutes for 4 servings

Top Zone: Roast at 325°F for 10 minutes for 2 servings, 20 minutes for 4 servings

 Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz salmon
  • 4 oz pesto
  • 8 oz orzo blend
  • 5 oz kale

Directions

1) Open salmon and place on a roasting rack. Season filets with 1 tbsp olive oil (2 tbsp), 1 tsp salt (2 tsp), and freshly ground pepper.  Cut open pesto and squeeze equally onto each filet. Place pan into the top zone of your Suvie.

2) Open orzo blend and add to a Suvie pan. Add kale on top of orzo blend. Place pan in the bottom zone of your Suvie.

3) Load salmon into the top zone of Suvie and orzo the bottom zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen).

4) After the cook is complete, divide food between plates, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
