Meal Card: Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts Bowl

Indulge in our healthful yet flavorful Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts Bowl, a bountiful blend of vegetables roasted with sweet and spicy sauce. Served on a bed of fluffy brown rice and green peas, this delicious vegetarian bowl is the definition of naughty but nice.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 packets hot honey 
  • 1-2 packets balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1-2 packages brown rice
  • 1-2 packages brussels sprouts
  • 1-2 packages green peas
  • 1-2 packages grilled mixed vegetables

Directions

1) Run hot honey under hot water to thaw. Set balsamic vinaigrette on the counter to thaw or place in the fridge to thaw if scheduling this meal. 

2) Before opening, gently tap brown rice, brussels sprouts, green peas, and mixed vegetables on the countertop to break up any large pieces. Combine brown rice and green peas in a Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp oil, ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp pepper (for 4 servings, season with 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp salt, and ½ tsp pepper). Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. 

3) Combine brussels sprouts and grilled mixed vegetables in a second Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp oil, ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp pepper (for 4 servings, season with 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp salt, and ½ tsp pepper). Drizzle vegetables with hot honey. Place in the top zone of Suvie. 

4) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “From Frozen.”

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 18 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 25 minutes) 

Top Zone: Roast at 325°F for 20 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 25 minutes)

5) Remove pans from Suvie. Season rice and peas to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between bowls. Season vegetables to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between bowls on top of rice. Drizzle each serving with balsamic vinaigrette just before serving.
