Fast, filling, and flavorful, it’s got savory Italian meatballs blanketed in vibrant marinara sauce, topped with stretchy mozzarella cheese and served on a toasted hoagie roll. The meal comes complete with a side of crisp-tender broccoli florets.
Meal Card: Italian Meatball Subs with Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1-2 packages meatballs in marinara
- 2-4 hoagie rolls
- 1-2 packages mozzarella cheese
- 1-2 packages broccoli
Directions
1) Set hoagie rolls on top of Suvie to thaw. Place mozzarella in the refrigerator to thaw. Open meatballs and marinara sauce and place in a Suvie pan. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie.
2) Before opening, gently tap broccoli against the counter to break apart, then open and add to a separate Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper (for 4 servings, season with 2 tbsp olive oil, and ½ tsp salt). Place in the bottom zone of Suvie.
3) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.

Bottom Zone: Roast at 350°F for 10 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 15 minutes)
Top Zone: Roast at 375°F for 20 minutes
4) Remove meatballs from Suvie, leaving broccoli in the bottom zone to keep warm. Transfer meatballs and marinara to a bowl and wipe Suvie pan clean.
5) Remove the hoagie rolls from their packaging and place opened rolls in the pan. Divide marinara sauce and meatballs between the two rolls and top with mozzarella cheese. Return pan to Suvie and confirm 4 minute broil time.
5) After the broil check to see if the cheese is melted to your liking, add another 1-2 minutes if necessary. Remove broccoli and subs from Suvie. Divide between plates and serve.
