Meal Card: Orange Salmon with White Rice and Broccoli

This instant weeknight favorite starts with hearty roasted salmon filets coated in a bright, sticky, and savory orange glaze. It comes with warm white rice for soaking up the rest of that irresistible sauce, roasted broccoli florets for a pop of green, and a sesame seed garnish for some added crunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 – 4 filets Salmon 
  • 1 – 2 packages White Rice 
  • 1 – 2 packages Broccoli 
  • 1 – 2 packets Orange Sauce 
  • 1 – 2 packets Sesame Seeds 

Directions

1) Place orange sauce in a bowl of hot water for 2-3 minutes to thaw.

2) Open salmon and place on the Suvie roasting rack (handles facing up) set within a Suvie pan. Season with 1/4 tsp (for 4 servings, use 1/2 tsp) salt and freshly ground pepper.

3) Cut open the orange sauce and coat the salmon with half of the sauce. Reserve the rest of the sauce for plating. Place salmon in the top zone of Suvie. 

4)  Before opening, tap white rice and broccoli packages against the countertop to break up any large pieces. Open white rice and broccoli packages and add to a separate Suvie pan. 

Season with 1 tbsp olive oil (for 4 servings, use 2 tbsp), 1/2 tsp (for 4 servings, use 1 tsp) salt and freshly ground pepper. Place rice and broccoli in the bottom zone of Suvie. 

5) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes (Roast for 20 minutes for 4 servings)

Top Zone: Roast at 325°F for 13 minutes (Roast for 23 minutes for 4 servings)

6) When the cook is complete, remove pans from Suvie and set aside salmon to rest for 4 minutes

7) Stir rice and broccoli together and season to taste with salt. Divide between plates. After resting, divide salmon between plates and drizzle with the remaining orange sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds.
