Meal Card: Cornbread Sausage Stuffing with Garlic Herb Butter

Our cornbread stuffing is the perfect accompaniment to any Thanksgiving feast. Tender cornbread cubes are roasted with carrots, onions, and celery in garlic herb butter and rich chicken broth studded with Italian sausage. Each bite is a harmonious blend of sweet and savory.

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces corn bread 
  • 1 package mirepoix 
  • 1 package Italian sausage 
  • 1 packet chicken broth
  • 2 packets garlic herb butter

Directions

1) Cut cornbread into 1-inch cubes. Transfer cornbread to a large bowl with mirepoix, Italian sausage, garlic herb butter, 1 tsp kosher salt, and ½ tsp ground black pepper. 

2) Dissolve 1 packet chicken stock in 1 cup warm water. Pour over the cornbread mixture. Transfer to a greased Suvie pan. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie. 

3) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.

Bottom Zone: None

Top Zone: Roast at 350°F for 20 minutes 

4) Remove stuffing from Suvie. Cut into squares and serve.
