Meal Card: Grilled Greek Shrimp

Transport yourself to the Peloponnese with our new Greek Shrimp meal, featuring plump, grilled shrimp seasoned with oregano, garlic, and thyme stewed with briny Kalamata olives, sweet tomatoes, and peppers and onions. We serve the shrimp with a side of white rice for soaking up all that delicious sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 packages grilled shrimp
  • 1-2 packets Greek seasoning
  • 1-2 packages white rice
  • 1-2 packages kalamata olives
  • 1-2 packages roasted tomatoes 
  • 1-2 packages peppers & onions

Directions

1) Keep shrimp frozen until Step 4. Open kalamata olives, tomatoes, and peppers & onions into a Suvie pan. Sprinkle with Greek seasoning and season generously with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie.

2) Before opening, tap package of rice on the counter to break up any large pieces. Open rice into a Suvie pan. Season with 2 tbsp water (¼ cup for 4 servings), and a generous amount of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. 

3) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 300°F for 8 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 12 minutes)

Top Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 20 minutes) 

4) Remove pans from Suvie. Stir kalamata olives, tomatoes, peppers & onions together and season to taste with salt and pepper. Open frozen shrimp and arrange on top of the vegetables. Return pan to Suvie and confirm 5 minute broil time. 

5) Fluff rice with a fork. Stir vegetables and shrimp together. Divide between plates and serve.
