Quick cooking asparagus is a great side dish when you’re tight on time. Asparagus shines when cooked hot and fast, resulting in crispy exteriors with juicy interiors. Air fried asparagus is ready in 10 minutes (and even less if your spears are especially thin; reduce the cook time to 8 minutes if the spears are thinner than ½”).
Air Fry Asparagus
Ingredients
- 8 oz asparagus spears, trimmed
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 lemon wedges
Directions
1) Arrange asparagus on a large plate and drizzle with olive oil. With your hands, work the oil into the spears until completely coated.
2) Season asparagus with ½ tsp kosher salt and ¼ tsp ground black pepper. Arrange asparagus in an even layer in a Suvie air fry basket. Place in Suvie with a sheet pan underneath to catch any drips.
3) Input settings and cook now or schedule, flipping asparagus halfway through.

Bottom Zone: Air Fry at 400°F for 10 minutes
Top Zone: None
4) Remove asparagus, transfer to a platter and serve with lemon wedges.
