Meal Card: Corkscrew Pasta Bake with Meat Sauce

This decadent meal brings together our favorite ingredients into one luxurious dish. Tender corkscrew pasta is stirred together with creamy ricotta cheese, tangy marinara, and rich Italian pork sausage and topped with a shower of mozzarella and provolone cheese. Served with a side of sweet green peas, this Italian-American classic is one you won’t want to miss! 

Suvie Cook Settings

For Two Servings: 

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 10 minutes 

Top Zone: Roast at 350°F for 30 minutes

For Four Servings: 

Bottom Zone: Roast at 350°F for 30 minutes 

Top Zone: Roast at 350°F for 30 minutes

Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal.

Corkscrew Pasta Bake with Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tray corkscrew pasta
  • 3 oz green peas

Directions

For 2-servings

1) Remove plastic from corkscrew pasta tray and place in a Suvie pan. 

2) Open green peas and add to a Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper. 

For 4-servings

1) For 4-servings, open green peas into a bowl. Toss with 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper. Remove the plastic from corkscrew pasta trays and place each in the middle of a Suvie pan and evenly distribute green peas around the outside. Repeat with second corkscrew pasta bake and remainder of green peas.

3) For 2-servings, load corkscrew pasta into the top zone of Suvie and green peas into the bottom zone. For 4-servings, load identical pans into each zone. Input settings and cook now. Alternatively, you can store or schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. (Please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.)

4) When cook is complete, divide corkscrew pasta and green peas between plates and season to taste with salt and pepper.
