Meal Card: Chocolate Croissants

These luscious and flaky croissants are a chocolate lover’s dream come true. Crisp layers of dough envelope a molten, melty center of rich chocolate. Start your day off with these delectable breakfast treats imported directly from France. The instructions below are for one pan of croissants, but you can make four at a time by dividing between two Suvie pans. Please note that these croissants are only available for Suvie 3.0.

Ingredients

  • 6 chocolate croissants

Directions

1) Line a Suvie pan with parchment paper. Place croissants into prepared pan (for best results, only cook 2 croissants per pan).

2) Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.

Bottom Zone: Bake at 315°F for 30 minutes

Top Zone: None

3) Remove pan from Suvie. Transfer croissants to a plate and serve.

In France there is no chocolate croissant. It is Pain au Chocolat or in English chocolate bread and so superior to American croissants it makes you cry.
