Meal Card: Garlic Soy Chicken

Savor this takeout favorite and reach your protein goals with this delicious, flavorful meal. Juicy chunks of chicken are roasted in a savory stir fry sauce, served over jasmine rice and tender edamame. A flurry of garlic chips delivers a crunchy garnish that adds flavor to every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 packages diced chicken
  • 1-2 packets stir fry sauce
  • 1-2 packets garlic chips
  • 1-2 packages jasmine white rice
  • 1-2 packages edamame

Directions

1) Place packet of garlic chips on the counter to thaw. Place packet of stir fry sauce in a bowl of hot water to thaw. 

2) Open diced chicken into a Suvie pan. Pour thawed stir fry sauce over the chicken and place in the top zone of Suvie.

3) Open jasmine white rice into a pan followed by the edamame. Sprinkle garlic chips over the edamame. Season generously with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 mins (for 4 servings, Roast for 25 mins)

Top Zone: Roast at 350°F for 15 mins (for 4 servings, Roast for 25 mins) 

4) Remove chicken from Suvie, leaving rice and edamame to keep warm. Separate chicken with forks and stir to incorporate with the sauce. Return pan to Suvie and confirm 5 minute broil time. 

5) Fluff rice and edamame and season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates with the chicken.
