Meal Card: Grilled BBQ Chicken with Buttery Cornbread

This cookout special is sure to please. Grilled diced chicken is slathered with tangy BBQ sauce for flavor in every bite. We serve our ultra-flavorful chicken with a side of sweet potatoes and corn bread to deliver major summertime vibes.

Meal Card: Grilled BBQ Chicken with Buttery Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1-2 packages grilled diced chicken
  • 1-2 packages roasted sweet potatoes
  • 1-2 packets BBQ sauce
  • 1-2 packages cornbread
  • 1-2 packets fried onions

Directions

1) Place packet of BBQ sauce in a bowl of hot water to thaw. Place cornbread on the counter to thaw or on top of Suvie to warm. Place fried onions on the counter to thaw. 

2) Open grilled diced chicken into a Suvie pan. Drizzle half the BBQ sauce over the chicken and place pan in the top zone of Suvie. 

3) Open sweet potatoes into a Suvie pan and season generously with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. 

4) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 350°F for 20 minutes for 2 servings (30 minutes for 4 servings)

Top Zone: Roast at 325°F for 12 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 20 minutes) 

5) Remove pans from Suvie. Stir chicken and BBQ sauce together and season to taste with salt and pepper. Season sweet potatoes with salt and pepper to taste, and then divide between plates.

6) Divide chicken, sweet potatoes, and cornbread between plates. Drizzle remaining BBQ sauce over the chicken and top with fried onions.
