Meal Card: Lemon Butter Penne

Our buttery and bright lemon sauce is the star of the show in this delicious pasta meal. Tender penne is roasted in lemon herb sauce for flavor in every bite. We serve the pasta with juicy chicken breast and sweet green peas for a well rounded meal that’s so delicious, it’s sure to become part of the weekly program.

Ingredients

  • 2-4 packets lemon herb sauce
  • 1-2 packets green peas
  • 1-2 packages penne pasta 
  • 1-2 packages chicken breasts

Directions

1) Run packet of lemon herb sauce under warm water to thaw. Open packages of penne pasta and peas and place in a Suvie pan. Pour thawed sauce over the pasta and peas, stirring to coat. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. 

2) Open chicken breasts and place on the Suvie roasting rack (handles facing up) set within a Suvie pan. Place chicken in the Top Zone of Suvie.

3) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 25 minutes)

Top Zone: Roast at 350°F for 27 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 37 minutes) 

4) Remove pans from Suvie, transfer chicken breasts to a cutting board, tent with foil, and let rest for 4 minutes.

5) Stir peas, pasta, and lemon herb sauce together until cohesive. Cut chicken into pieces or cubes, and stir into the pasta mixture until coated in sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between bowls and serve.
