The simple pleasure of a good mozzarella stick is hard to deny. Softy melty cheese, encompassed by a crackling breaded exterior is the thing of dreams. We serve our Suvie kids’ meal with tangy marinara for dipping and a side of sweet green peas. This meal is for the young, and the young at heart.
Meal Card: Mozzarella Sticks and Green Peas
Ingredients
- 1-2 packages mozzarella sticks
- 1-2 green peas
- 1-2 packets marinara sauce
Directions
1) Place marinara sauce in a bowl of warm water to thaw, or place in the refrigerator to thaw if scheduling this meal. (You can also place sauce on top of Suvie to warm if you are doing a “Cook Now”.)
2) Cut open the green peas and add to a Suvie pan. Season with olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste. Place a Suvie air fry basket on top of the Suvie pan. Place the mozzarella sticks in an even layer in the air fry basket.
3) Place pan in the top zone to cook alone, or in either zone if using Mix & Match mode. Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.
Suvie Cook Settings
Bottom Zone: Air Fry at 400°F for 5 minutes
Top Zone: Air Fry at 400°F for 5 minutes
4) When the cook is complete, remove pan from Suvie. Carefully turn over the mozzarella sticks. Return to Suvie and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
5) After the cook ends, remove pans from Suvie and divide between plates. Serve with the marinara dipping sauce.
