We roast the bolognese and penne together to infuse the pasta with flavor. Served with a side of broccoli, this classic dish is perfect for the whole family.
Meal Card: Pasta alla Bolognese with Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1-2 packages penne pasta
- 1-2 packages bolognese sauce
- 1-2 packages mozzarella cheese
- 1-2 packages broccoli
Directions
1) Place packages of bolognese sauce in a bowl of hot water to thaw slightly. Place mozzarella cheese on the counter to thaw or place in the fridge to thaw if scheduling this meal.
2) Open penne pasta into a Suvie pan and pour bolognese sauce over the pasta. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie.
3) Tap packages of broccoli on the counter to break up any large pieces. Open into a second Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp oil (2 tbsp if cooking 4 servings) and salt and pepper to taste. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie.
4) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.
Suvie Cook Settings
Bottom Zone: Roast at 350°F for 10 minutes for 2 servings (15 minutes for 4 servings)
Top Zone: Roast at 300°F for 15 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 20 minutes)
5) Remove penne from Suvie, leaving broccoli to keep warm. Stir penne and bolognese together until cohesive and season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top and return pan to Suvie. Confirm 7 minute broil time.
6) Season broccoli to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates with penne alla bolognese.
