Meal Card: Chicken Taco Bowl

Bring the flavors of the Southwest home with this tasty taco bowl. Tender chicken, white rice, black beans, and sweet corn are mixed with our tangy tomatillo sauce in the delish dish. This Rapid Cook meal is custom designed to be made in your Suvie 2.0. Order it directly from Suvie, have it delivered to your door, and dinner is ready in a flash.

Note: If you would like, add 1-2 tsps homemade Taco Seasoning to add even more flavor to this delicious meal.

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes for 2 people, or 20 minutes for 4 people

Top Zone: Roast at 360°F for 27 mins for 2 people, or 37 mins for 4 people

Select YES from frozen when preparing a Rapid Cook Meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 (7 oz) chicken breasts
  • 10 oz white rice
  • 8 oz corn and black bean mix
  • 6 oz tomatillo salsa

Directions

1) Place the wire roasting rack into a Suvie pan. Open packages with the chicken breast and place on top of the roasting rack already in the Suvie pan.

2) Cut open the package with the white rice and add to a separate Suvie pan. Then cut open the package with the corn and bean mixture and mix into the white rice with a spoon. Season with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper (for 4 servings, use 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tsp salt).

3) Cut open the package with tomatillo salsa and place on top of rice and vegetable mix. Add 2 tbsp of water to the pan. Load the chicken breast into the top zone. Load the rice, bean, and corn mixture into the bottom zone. 

4) Using the track wheel, choose Cook Now. Alternatively, you can Store or Schedule the meal in the Suvie, but note you will need to select Cook Now to begin cooking your stored or scheduled meal. Input the following settings (Make sure to select “Yes” when prompted for Cooking from Frozen):

5) After the cook is complete, remove the rice and bean mixture from Suvie and mix together with a spoon. Remove chicken from Suvie. Divide the rice and bean mixture between plates, top with the chicken, and enjoy!

Is the calorie and nutrition correct for this meal?
66g of protein and 62g of carbs seem like a lot for only 11g of fat
