Our Thai coconut sauce is packed with bright flavor thanks to ample amounts of ginger, lemongrass, and garlic. We’d slather this sauce on just about anything, but it’s especially delicious on juicy sous vide chicken breasts. A side of fluffy jasmine rice and tender green beans round out this flavorful dish. Note: this recipe requires Suvie 2.0 and the Suvie Starch Cooker.
Suvie Cook Settings
Bottom Zone: Sous Vide at 155 °F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 45 minutes for 4 servings
Top Zone: Steam at 250 °F for 30 minutes for 2 servings, 30 minutes for 4 servings
Starch Cooker Settings
Set Starch Cooker to Rice mode, select Rapid / Long Grain and set for ½ cup for 2 servings and 1 cup for 4 servings.
Select YES from frozen when preparing a Suvie meal
Thai Coconut Curry Chicken
Ingredients
- 5 oz green beans
- 12 oz chicken breast
- 7 oz Thai coconut sauce
- 4 oz jasmine rice
Directions
1) Pour green beans into a Suvie pan.
2) Do not open the chicken packages! Place chicken breasts into a Suvie pan and cover completely with water.
3) Do not open the Thai coconut sauce! Place Thai coconut sauce in pan with chicken.
4) Pour jasmine rice into rice pot (black handles). Add salt to taste. Do not add water! Cover pot with lid, place into your Suvie Starch cooker, and close the door.
5) Load green beans into the top zone of Suvie and chicken into the bottom zone. Input settings and choose Cook Now, Schedule or Refrigerate (please be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen). Follow prompts on both appliances.

6) When cook is complete, carefully remove pan (it will be hot!) with chicken from Suvie. Remove chicken breasts from packaging, discard any liquid and pat dry.
7) Cube chicken and place in a dry Suvie pan. Cut open Thai coconut sauce and pour over chicken. Return pan to the bottom zone of your Suvie.
8) Season green beans with olive oil, salt and pepper and return pan to the top zone of your Suvie.
9) Confirm 5 minute broil times on Suvie screen. Close Suvie door and select “Start Broil.”
10) After the broil, remove rice from starch cooker and fluff with a fork.
11) Divide rice and green beans between plates and top with chicken and Thai coconut sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
