  • 4 hot dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 slices American or cheddar cheese

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Slow Cook High for 45 minutes

2) Combine melted butter and minced garlic in a small heat-proof bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Set aside.

3) Remove pans from Suvie. Divide hot buns, open-faced, between two clean, dry Suvie pans. Brush buns with garlic butter. Place pans in Suvie and broil for 5-7 minutes until browned, watching closely to avoid burning.

4) Remove pans from Suvie. Place one hot dog in each bun and a scoop of chili on top of each hot dog.

5) Tear up American cheese slices and arrange on top of chili. Return pans to Suvie and broil for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melty.

6) Remove pans from Suvie, garnish each chili dog with diced red onion, and serve.

Note: If you would like to make this recipe in Suvie 1.0, insert pans into the top zones of Suvie, fill reservoir, and set to Slow Cook on High for 45 minutes.

So this was my first cook for the Suvey Kitchen Robot 3.0 – cooked great – next time would skip the garlic butter- it made it taste too weird!
