If you love French onion dip, this recipe is for you. Chicken tenders are coated in tangy, rich French onion dip and roasted until perfectly juicy. Just before serving, the tenders are topped with crisp fried shallots for crunchy contrast. This recipe can easily be doubled to feed more folks, simply split the chicken between two Suvie pans and roast according to the instructions.

French Onion Dip Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • ½ cup French onion dip 
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice, divided 
  • 1 cup fried shallots or onions
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh chives or scallions

Directions

1) In a large bowl, stir together 1 lb chicken tenders, ½ cup French onion dip, ½ tsp kosher salt, and 1 tsp fresh lemon juice. Arrange tenders in a single layer in a greased Suvie pan. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie, input settings, and cook now.

Bottom Zone: Roast at 400°F for 22 minutes 

Top Zone: None

2) After the chicken has finished cooking, transfer to a serving platter. Lightly crush 1 cup fried shallots. Garnish with fried shallots and 1 tbsp minced fresh chives. Serve immediately.
