Ultra-flavorful taco seasoning is a weeknight time saver, cutting down on your shopping list and your prep list. We cook the beef and beans together with the seasoning in one pan and the onion and corn in the other before serving with a medley of toppings. Crunchy tortillas chips make the perfect vehicle for scooping up all the taco fillings.
Ground Beef Taco Bowls

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef, 85%
- 1 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 oz taco seasoning (from packet)
- 1 cup finely chopped yellow onion
- 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups corn kernels, fresh or frozen
- 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1 avocado, pitted and diced
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 lime, quartered
- ¼ cup sliced scallions
- 2 cups tortilla chips, to serve
Directions
1) Grease two Suvie pans. Crumble 1 lb ground beef into one pan and season with 2 tsp olive oil and 1 oz taco seasoning. Gently stir in black beans to combine and transfer pan to the bottom zone of Suvie.

2) In the second Suvie pan, stir together 1 tsp olive oil, 1 cup chopped onion and 1 cup corn kernels. Season with 1 tsp kosher salt and ½ tsp ground black pepper. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie. → Hold the Tap to Scan tag to the logo on the appliance.
Suvie Cook Settings
Bottom Zone: Roast at 400°F for 18 minutes
Top Zone Roast at 400°F for 25 minutes

3) Remove pans from Suvie. Break up beef into pieces with a spoon, sprinkle with shredded cheese to melt. Stir and season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates.
4) Season corn and onions to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates with the beef. Divide salsa and avocados between plates, seasoning lightly with salt. Garnish each serving with a squeeze of lime and scallions. Serve with tortilla chips.
Chef’s Tip: We used frozen charred corn kernels in this recipe for extra flavor, but regular frozen corn kernels will also work if your store doesn’t carry the former.
