Teriyaki Salmon with Sesame Rice and Edamame

This quick and easy recipe is a great option when you need dinner on the table in less than half an hour. Teriyaki sauce adds sweetness and savoriness to the salmon, while nutty sesame oil adds layers of flavor to simple rice and plump edamame.

Teriyaki Salmon with Sesame Rice and Edamame

Ingredients

  • 4 (5-6 oz) salmon fillets
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cups cooked frozen white or brown rice
  • 2 cups shelled frozen edamame
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil 
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions

1) Arrange salmon filets on a Suvie roasting rack (handles facing up) set within a Suvie pan. Season each side of the salmon filets lightly with salt. Pour half the teriyaki sauce evenly over the filets. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie. 

2) Combine frozen rice and edamame in a Suvie pan. Drizzle with sesame oil and season with ½ tsp salt, stirring to combine. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. → Hold the Tap to Scan tag to the logo on the appliance.

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 350°F for 25 minutes 

Top Zone: Roast at 350°F for 18 minutes

3) Remove pans from Suvie. Fluff rice and season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates.

4) Divide salmon filets between plates, drizzle with remaining teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds. 

Chef’s Tip: When shopping for this recipe, look for salmon filets that are more rectangular than square which will help them fit evenly on the roasting rack.
