This is a bit confusing. If you use the menu on the oven, it programs the top and bottom for 35 min @ 400 (if memory serves). There is no way I have found to turn the top off at that point. So I cancel and do custom. This recipe says 20 min @ 400. I think marking it frozen adds 10 minutes. This is probably the place I get the most confused with your recipes. You should say 20 min plus 10 if frozen so it matches what the oven is doing.

I’m having the same issue as the comment below. This is only my third cook, but so far I have had to use it manually for all three meals. Even when it scanned correctly, the time on the screen did not reflect the time it was inside. I’m hoping I figure it out.

I followed the directions to the letter. The problem is that “Suvie Meals” should come out of the Suvie Appliance perfect; Period. This appliance and its prepackaged meals are designed to take the guesswork out of cooking, or so I thought. If I want to experiment with various techniques and cook times, I would go to Target and buy a suvie cooker. At $13 per serving, I do not want to experiment, add additional time, or restart the cook. What I want is a quality meal that is consistent in flavor, texture, and temperature.

I have the Suvie 3.0, with the basic recipe above I programmed my machine (which defaults to bottom temp and setting then top, it can be together or separately). I use parchment paper instead of oil on the pan, easier cleanup and easy transfer to serving dish(es). The settings for this recipe on my Suvie 3.0 were bake, 400, 20 minutes and selected frozen – this brought the time to 35 minutes at 400 degrees. I then told the machine, no baking on top portion. Started the cooking and 35 minutes later, they were done and perfect. I have another… Read more »
