Meal Card: Ham & Cheese Empanadas with Spicy Aioli

These crispy ham and cheese empanadas, complete with a savory filling, are perfectly complemented by a fiery, creamy spicy aioli. With a side of fluffy rice studded with roasted peppers and earthy black beans, this satisfying meal checks all the boxes and is sure to satisfy.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 packages ham & cheese empanadas
  • 1-2 spicy aioli
  • 1-2 packages white rice
  • 1-2 packages SW veg blend

Directions

1) Place packet of spicy aioli in a bowl of hot water to thaw, or place in the fridge to thaw if scheduling this meal. 

2) Place empanadas in a greased Suvie pan and place pan in the top zone of Suvie. 

3) Open rice and SW veg mix into a Suvie pan and season generously with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 25 minutes)

Top Zone: Bake at 315°F for 30 minutes (for Suvie 3.0+ Convection Bake for 20 minutes)

4) Remove pans from Suvie. Fluff rice and SW veg with a fork and season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between plates with the empanadas, serving spicy aioli on the side for dipping.
