Meal Card: Spinach Saag Paneer

Try our creamy vegetarian Saag Paneer with tender pieces of paneer cheese swimming in a verdant, ginger-laced spinach sauce. We serve this rich and flavorful curry with plenty of aromatic rice for soaking up all that sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 packages paneer cheese
  • 1-2 packages spinach saag sauce
  • 1-2 packages white rice 

Directions

1) Place package of spinach saag sauce in a bowl of hot water to thaw for 3-5 minutes.

2) Open paneer cheese and place in a Suvie pan. Open package of thawed spinach saag sauce and pour over the paneer cheese. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie. 

3) Tap package of white rice on the counter to break up any large pieces. Open rice and pour into a second Suvie pan. Season to taste with oil, salt, and pepper. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie, 

4) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 mins (for 4 servings, Roast for 25 mins)

Top Zone: Roast at 375°F for 30 mins (for 4 servings, Roast at 350°F for 40 mins)

5) After cooking, remove pans from Suvie. Stir paneer and spinach saag sauce together until cohesive. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 

6) Fluff rice with a fork and divide between bowls. Top with saag paneer and serve.
