Sweet and tangy teriyaki sauce perfectly complements rich and hearty baby back ribs in this decadent meal. A side of white rice and tender broccoli florets deliver the take-out vibes from the comfort of your own kitchen.
Meal Card: Teriyaki Glazed Pork Ribs
Ingredients
- 1-2 packages baby back ribs
- 3-6 packets teriyaki sauce
- 1-2 packages white rice
- 1-2 packages broccoli florets
Directions
1) Place teriyaki sauce in a bowl of hot water to thaw for 2 minutes.
2) Open baby back ribs and place in a Suvie pan, meat-side up. Cut open BBQ sauce and squeeze ½ of the sauce over the ribs. Reserve the remaining teriyaki sauce for serving. Place ribs in the top zone of Suvie.
3) Before opening, tap rice and broccoli florets against the countertop to break up any large pieces. Open and add both to a second Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp olive oil (2 tbsp for 4 servings), 1/4 tsp (1/2 tsp for 4 servings) salt and freshly ground pepper. Place rice and broccoli in the Bottom Zone of Suvie.
4) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.
Suvie Cook Settings

Top Zone: Roast at 350°F for 25 minutes for 2 servings (for 4 servings, Roast for 35 minutes)
5) When the cook is complete, remove pans from Suvie. Season broccoli and rice to taste with salt and pepper. Divide the ribs, broccoli, and rice between plates. Serve with the reserved teriyaki sauce.

How is the rice cooked? I’m making this now but the recipe doesn’t include how to deal with the rice.
Hi Shanna, the rice and broccoli cook together. See Step 3: “3) Before opening, tap rice and broccoli florets against the countertop to break up any large pieces. Open and add both to a second Suvie pan.” Hope that helps!
I had the same issue. The meal card that came with my kit also didn’t say anything about how to prepare the rice.
