With only five minutes of prep and less than forty minutes to cook, this dinner is a snap to pull together. Pillowy soft gnocchi are roasted with tangy sundried tomatoes and marinara sauce and then stirred together with spicy Italian sausages. Finish the dish with creamy burrata and fresh herbs for a weeknight dinner that tastes like a five star meal.
Spicy Sausage & Gnocchi with Burrata
Ingredients
- 1 lb shelf stable gnocchi
- ¼ cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 ½ cups marinara sauce
- 1 lb hot Italian sausages
- 1 ball burrata
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil or parsley
Directions
1) In a Suvie pan, stir together 1 lb gnocchi, ½ cup hot water, ¼ cup sun dried tomatoes, and 1½ cups marinara sauce. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie.
2) Place 1 lb sausage into a second Suvie pan. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie. Input settings and cook now or schedule.
Suvie Cook Settings
Bottom Zone: Roast at 400°F for 35 minutes
Top Zone Roast at 400°F for 20 minutes
3) Remove pans from Suvie. Cut sausage into rounds. Stir sausage, and any liquid from the pan into the gnocchi. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4) Divide gnocchi and sausage between 4 bowls. Carefully tear burrata into pieces with your hands and scatter over each serving. Top with herbs and serve.

I made this with a different (black pepper chicken) sausage I had on hand, so this isn’t a review of its taste, necessarily. I want to say it was super easy and quick! We enjoyed it very much.
