This simple side dish is perfect when you want an easy vegetable to round out your meal. Tender broccoli florets are roasted with olive oil and garlic and then finished with a squeeze of bright lemon juice. Depending on the size of your florets, you may need to add or subtract a couple minutes from the cooking time. 

Garlic Roast Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 2 lb broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced or grated
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Directions

1) In a large bowl, toss 2 lbs broccoli florets, 1 tbsp olive oil, 4 minced garlic cloves, ½ tsp kosher salt, and ½ tsp ground black pepper until fully coated. Divide florets between 2 Suvie pans.

2) Place both pans in Suvie, input settings, and cook now or schedule.

Bottom Zone: Roast at 450°F for 20 minutes (for Suvie 2.0, Roast at 400°F for 25 mins)

Top Zone: Roast at 450°F for 20 minutes (for Suvie 2.0, Roast at 400°F for 25 mins)

3) After roasting, remove pans from Suvie. Drizzle with 1 tsp lemon juice and season to taste with salt and pepper as needed.
