Enjoy all your favorite cookout foods no matter the season with our delicious pulled pork plate. Juicy shredded pork is roasted with our tangy, mustard-based Carolina gold BBQ sauce and served with tender green beans. A side of crumbly sweet cornbread completes the meal.
Meal Card: Carolina Gold BBQ Pulled Pork
Ingredients
- 1 – 2 packages Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce
- 2 – 4 packets Cornbread
- 1 – 2 packages Shredded Pork
- 1 – 2 packages Green Beans
Directions
1) Set aside cornbread to thaw at room temperature (or place on top of Suvie to warm). Place BBQ sauce in a bowl of hot water to thaw for 2-3 minutes.
2) Open shredded pork and place in a Suvie pan. Cut open BBQ sauce and squeeze over the pork. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie.
3) Before opening, gently tap green beans on the counter to break apart. Open green beans and add to a second Suvie pan. Season with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 tsp salt and freshly ground pepper (for 4 servings, season with 2 tbsp olive oil, ½ tsp salt, and freshly ground pepper). Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie.
4) Input settings and cook now or schedule. Be sure to select “Yes” when asked if cooking from frozen.
Suvie Cook Settings
Bottom Zone: Roast at 325°F for 15 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 20 minutes)
Top Zone: Roast at 350°F for 27 minutes (for 4 servings, Roast for 37 minutes)
4) When the cook is complete, remove pans from Suvie. Mix the pork into the BBQ sauce. Season the pork and green beans to taste with salt and pepper.
5) Divide the pork, green beans, and cornbread between plates.
