These chewy bars are a sweet-and-salty dream. The rich blondie base is studded with salty toasted cashews and sweet toffee bits for texture in every bite. With only 8 ingredients and 15 minutes of prep time, this dessert is a snap to pull together.

Ingredients

  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup salted cashews, roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup toffee pieces, such as Heath Bar

Directions

1) In a large bowl, vigorously whisk together 8 tbsp melted butter and ¾ cup light brown sugar until smooth and cohesive, about 30 seconds. 

2) Add 2 eggs and whisk until well combined, about 30 seconds more. Whisk in 1 tbsp vanilla. Add ¾ cup all purpose flour and ½ tsp salt and whisk until smooth. Fold in 1 cup salted cashews and ¼ cup toffee pieces. 

3) Line a Suvie pan with foil and mist with cooking spray. Dollop batter evenly into the prepared pan and then smooth into an even layer. Place pan in the bottom zone of Suvie. Input settings and cook now.

Bottom Zone: Bake at 300°F for 35 minutes (for Suvie 2.0, Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes)

Top Zone: None

4) Remove pan from Suvie and allow bars to cool completely in the pan. Remove bars from pan and cut into squares.
