Suvie’s Favorite 30 Minute Meals

Short on time, but big on flavor, these 30 minute meals are your weeknight dinner heroes. With an emphasis on quick cooking proteins, this list features fish, chicken, pork, shrimp, and fish. To save even more time, prep these meals in advance and schedule them ahead to be ready at dinnertime.

1) Maple Soy Glazed Salmon

With only 4 ingredients and 5 minutes of prep time, believe us when we say that this recipe is worth more than the sum of its parts. Sweet and earthy maple syrup pairs beautifully with umami-rich soy sauce in our delectable glaze that is the ideal counternote to the rich salmon filets.

2) Gochujang Honey Shrimp

Gochujang Honey Shrimp with Garlic Ginger Baby Bok Choy

This quick shrimp recipe is packed with flavor from the very beginning thanks to a marinade made of sweet honey and savory gochujang, a Korean fermented red chili paste. Crunchy baby bok choy brushed with an aromatic ginger and garlic paste and roasted to juicy perfection makes the ideal side dish.

3) Super Simple, Super Crispy Chicken Thighs

Crispy, juicy chicken thighs are our love language. Rendered until shatteringly crisp and then roasted until cooked through, these thighs will liven up any meal.

4) Roast Pork Tenderloin with Broccoli Rabe

Pork tenderloin is one of our favorite cuts of pork. Mild and lean, pork tenderloin tastes best when seasoned simply with fresh herbs and a little salt and pepper. We serve our tenderloin with garlic roasted broccoli rabe, which we spice up with red pepper flakes.

5) Spicy Sausage & Gnocchi with Burrata

Please forgive us that this recipe is 35 minutes, but it’s so delicious and so easy, we had to include it. Pillowy soft gnocchi are roasted with tangy sundried tomatoes and marinara sauce and then stirred together with spicy Italian sausages. Finish the dish with creamy burrata and fresh herbs for a weeknight dinner that tastes like a five star meal.

6) Jerk Shrimp with Roast Vegetables

For a lightning fast meal that’s bursting with flavor, look no further than our jerk shrimp with roast vegetables. Thinly sliced pepper and onions cook quickly and make the perfect sweet and savory base for the spicy shrimp.

7) Garlic Roasted Chicken with Artichokes, Tomatoes, and Feta

In this quick and easy recipe juicy chicken breasts are served alongside tangy tomatoes, sweet artichoke hearts, and briny feta cheese. We mince the garlic superfine and rub it directly onto the chicken to ensure there is garlic in every bite.

8) Tuna Steaks with Caper Herb Sauce

Rich and hearty tuna steaks are punched up with a herbaceous and briny caper herb sauce in this simple and delicious meal. Preheating the pan speeds up the process of cooking the underside of the tuna. A final broil to finish ensures even cooking throughout.
