Sweet and earthy maple syrup pairs beautifully with umami-rich soy sauce in our delectable glaze that is the ideal counternote to the rich salmon filets. Maple Soy Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 skinless salmon filets
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Directions

1) Combine ¼ cup maple syrup and 2 tbsp soy sauce in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat to cool slightly. Pour half the glaze into a small bowl and set aside. 

2) Arrange salmon filets on a Suvie roasting rack (handle facing up) set within a Suvie pan. Season each side of the salmon filets lightly with salt. Brush half of the maple glaze over the two filets. Place the salmon in the bottom zone of Suvie, input settings and cook now or schedule. 

Suvie Cook Settings

Bottom Zone: Roast at 350°F for 18 minutes

Top Zone: None 

3) Remove salmon from Suvie and transfer to a plate. Brush remaining glaze over each filet. Sprinkle sesame seeds over each filet and serve.
