When the fast food cravings hit, skip the drive through and try this delicious recipe instead. Savory beef, creamy beans, and melty cheese come together in perfectly crisp air fried tortillas. In Step 2, the cream cheese should be quite soft. If not, microwave for 5-10 seconds until it’s easy to stir.
Beef & Bean Taquitos
Ingredients
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 8 oz ground beef, 90% lean
- 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 oz shredded mexican cheese
- 12 (6-inch) flour tortillas
- 1 cup salsa, to serve
Directions
1) In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat 2 tsp vegetable oil until shimmering. Add the beef and season with ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp ground black pepper. Cook, breaking up meat into fine pieces with a wooden spoon until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain off and discard fat from skillet.
2) In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder until smooth. Stir in ground beef, black beans, and shredded cheese until cohesive.
2) Working with one tortilla at a time, mist one side of the tortilla with cooking spray and then flip over. Fill tortilla with ¼ cup filling and roll up tightly to seal, ensuring the seam is facing down. Place in a greased Suvie Air Fry basket.
3) Repeat filling and rolling tortillas until you have 12 taquitos divided between 2 Suvie Air Fry baskets. Place baskets in Suvie, ensuring the saute pans are in place underneath each basket to catch any drips.
4) Input settings and cook now or schedule, carefully flipping taquitos over halfway through cooking.

Bottom Zone: Air Fry at 400°F for 16 minutes
Top Zone: Air Fry at 400°F for 16 minutes
5) Remove baskets from Suvie, divide taquitos between 4 plates and serve with salsa.
