April was Greek month as we touched on classics such as lamb souvlaki and Greek pasta salad to a little bit more regional Thessaloniki-style shrimp and Psari Plaki which is a baked Greek fish recipe. We’re Looking forward to your feedback and letting us know what regions you would like us to feature in the future.
Vegetarian Pita Pockets
This recipe only requires you to slice up a few vegetables and then load them into your Suvie. It’s the easy, healthy, vegetarian weeknight option that we all need and it tastes great.
Greek Orzo Salad with Halloumi
This recipe has a wide variety of flavors, textures, and temperatures to keep you coming back for more.
Greek Pasta Salad
This tasty pasta salad uses olive oil and lemon juice as a base rather than mayo, making it light and citrusy. The fresh cucumber, tomato, and parsley also lend their flavor to this meal, making it feel like springtime wherever you are.
Thessaloniki-Style Shrimp
We hope this dish will transport you to the coast of Greece without having to leave your home!
Lamb Souvlaki
You don’t need to visit Greece to enjoy this delicious Mediterranean-inspired dish.
Mediterranean Chicken Bowl
This delicious grain bowl comes together in a flash thanks to a highly flavorful sauce that pulls double duty as both a marinade and a dressing.
Braised Chicken with Olives and Artichokes
Chicken, olives, lemon, garlic, and onion are braised with artichokes until tender and saucy. The braising liquid tastes fantastic spooned over rice, but would also be great to soak up with pita bread.
Greek Style Turkey Meatballs
These Greek-inspired turkey meatballs are flavorful and bright thanks to the use of oregano, cumin, coriander, lemon, and ample amounts of mint.
Chicken Souvlaki
Souvlaki is a popular street food in Greece where marinated meat is grilled on a skewer. We’ve opted to forgo the grill and use Suvie to cook chicken in this recipe. The chicken is marinated in olive oil and spices, and then cooked to perfection.
Psari Plaki (Baked Greek Fish)
This slow-cooked dish brings together buttery fish and tangy tomato sauce for a delicious stew that’s perfect for scooping up with pieces of soft pita bread.
