This recipe is for all the garlic lovers out there. We love garlic as much as anyone and shrimp with its mildly sweet taste is a perfect vehicle for it. Tossed with a simple garlic-butter sauce this shrimp, broccoli, and pasta dish is simple enough for any weeknight. Break out the white wine and get ready for those warm summer evenings and let Suvie take care of dinner.
Garlic Shrimp with Broccoli

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter, divided
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 10 oz broccoli florets
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions

1) Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then vacuum seal with 1 tbsp butter and place in Suvie pan. Fill the pan with enough water to cover the shrimp and place in the bottom zone of Suvie.
2) Pour 1/2 cup water into a Suvie pan and then place the Suvie roasting rack (handles facing down) in the pan. Arrange broccoli on the roasting rack in an even layer. Place pan in the top zone of Suvie. Input settings and cook now or schedule.

Bottom Zone: Sous Vide at 125°F for 45 minutes
Top Zone: Steam for 22 minutes
3) Place 8 oz penne in the Suvie pasta pot (green handles) and cover pot with lid. Place inside the Suvie Starch Cooker, ensuring the pot is centered on the hot plate. Input settings and cook now or schedule.

Pasta, 2 cups, 10 minutes
4) While the shrimp cooks, prepare the garlic sauce. Melt remaining 2 tbsp butter in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic cloves and red pepper flakes if using. Saute for about 4 minutes or until garlic is soft and fragrant, remove skillet from heat and stir in lemon juice, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp ground black pepper.
5) Remove pans from Suvie. Remove shrimp from packaging. Transfer broccoli, shrimp, and pasta to a large bowl. Drizzle lemon garlic sauce over the ingredients and toss to coat thoroughly. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Divide between bowls, drizzling with olive oil just before serving.
